Destination Wedding Photography
Our destination photography and video team can be anywhere and any venue you’re getting married. From the USA to Europe to Asia, or even tropical islands. We are based in Eastern Iowa. Outside of our base in Iowa, we charge a modest travel fee to get to your wedding. Included is a consultation to review and help make suggestions that will enhance your destination wedding experience. We bring all the latest cameras and the best lenses for your day. We also bring backup equipment just in case. We shoot both natural light and flash and we decide which one to use based on the type of shot and lighting conditions.
Portraiture
We also offer headshots, family, maternity and newborn portraiture. You have the option to have your session at our home studio where we have a variety of props and backdrops or on-location in places around the Cedar Rapids area. We typically recommend parks for outdoor photo sessions. Or even a downtown area with old brick buildings, etc. Our website displays other styles of photography that we offer as well.
Editing/Retouching/Prints
All of our photos are edited for color and style. You will receive collections of photos ranging from black and white to film. All photos are uploaded into an online gallery for viewing, downloading and ordering prints. All edited prints included in your package include a retouching for skin, color, lighting and cropping. When you order prints and enlargements, canvas, there will be other options to choose from such as size, type of paper, etc.
We do not have a limit on the amount of images we shoot. On average, you can expect roughly 100 photos per hour, give or take a few. As the main shooter I carry two cameras, one for close-ups and one for wider angles and long range. At the end of the day, we make backups all your photos and keep for roughly a year or longer. Backups are extremely important to us in the digital age. Whether on your PC hard drive, external drive, or flash drive, we also recommend that you also make a back up of your digital images.
